The stuff people ask before they type in a rego
Is the instant price real, or a "come and see" number?
It's real. We price from the rego, kilometres and the condition you tell us. Your self inspection confirms the car matches, and that number goes on the contract. If something turns up that you didn't mention, we'll ring you and talk about it before anything changes. We don't turn up and haggle on the driveway.
What is a self inspection?
A link we text you. You open it on your phone, take a set of photos and a short walk-around video, answer a few questions, and hit submit. Ten minutes, give or take. No appointment, nobody coming to your house until it's time to collect.
When do I actually get paid?
A deposit goes across as soon as your self inspection checks out, and the contract follows within the hour. The balance goes across at pickup, after our buyer's once-over, and we don't take the car until you can see the money in your account.
Do you still look at the car in person?
Yes, once, at pickup. Our buyer does a quick walk-around to confirm the car is what your photos showed. It takes a few minutes and it isn't a second negotiation. If the car matches, the balance is paid and we take the keys.
Still have finance on the car?
Common, and no problem. We get a payout figure from your lender, pay them directly, and transfer you whatever's left over.
Do I need a roadworthy certificate?
No. We buy the car as it is and handle roadworthy ourselves.
What cars do you buy?
Most makes and models from around 2010 onwards, in any condition. Older, higher-kilometre or damaged cars can still get a price, it'll just be a smaller one.
